ABOUT FRANK ROVERO
A rare breed of artistic talent nurtured at the UST College of Fine Arts, Class of 1970.
His works are splashed on canvas - bright, vivid that reflect both classical discipline and contemporary expression, infused with spiritual depth. Now based in Sydney, he has distinguished himself as a migrant artist, earning accolades such as the Auburn Mayoral Award (2002) and Most Outstanding Artist at the Golden Anniversary of Aklan (2006), alongside numerous recognitions across New South Wales. His works have been exhibited in major venues including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Powerhouse Museum, Casula Powerhouse and many more. Beyond his art, he has played a key role in promoting Filipino identity in Australia as Founding President of the Philippine Australia Arts Association, while also serving as an educator and arts leader in the community.
A defining testament to his faith and artistry "Glory in the Garden Chapel” which he built in Pavia Iloilo, Philippines. Nearly a decade in the making, blessed and inaugurated in 2023. The chapel serves as evangelisation and enlightenment through art. Rovero brought his vision to life single-handedly - from concept, architectural design, sculptures, up to creating 73 panels of paintings up at the ceiling of the chapel, reflecting from Creation to Revelations of the Bible.
For this Thomasian, it is more than a masterpiece - it is a fulfillment of purpose & reason of his existence.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Dream it
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.
Build it
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
